Homecoming

It was a typical fall day in Bloomington with the colorful trees, cool breeze, mid 60's, and bright sunlight welcoming our Hoosiers and the Northwestern Wildcats to the gridiron. Northwestern jumped off to a big lead, but our boys came to tie the score at the end of the third quarter 24 to 24. The fourth quarter saw each team score a touchdown before time ran out, resulting in the first Homecoming overtime game. The Wildcats finally ended the game with a touchdown and a 37-31 loss for the Hoosiers. It looks like another long season for our guys.

The loss, however, did not spoil our Alpha Iota Alumni tailgate. With nearly 40 attending, Event Chairman Tom Knox '77 had his hands full preparing bratwurst, barbeque chicken, and all the fixings for the throng. With an 11AM game starting time, our tailgate got rolling early, continued throughout the second half, and the last diehards pulled out at 4PM. The day was filled with fellowship, fun, food, and Fraternity.

There were a few Brothers we have not seen for a while and it gave everyone a chance to catch up on each other and the news of the Chapter. We hope everyone enjoyed the day and look forward to doing this again next year!!
